A community based outreach program for community members to have access to a university-level educational experience despite financial or social barriers.

Humanities 101 does not provide entry into Lakehead University
Evening courses
Dinner included
Child and elder care cost covered by program
City Bus Pass and YMCA membership provided while in the program

The one semester non-credit course covers subject areas such as:

Social Work
Aboriginal Studies
English
History
Anthropology
Psychology
Environmental Education

Hours	Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm Program Start: Jan for 12 weeks evening classes
Areas Served	Chippewas of Rama First Nation ; Orillia ; Oro-Medonte ; Rama ; Ramara ; Severn
Eligibility	Students must be able to read a newspaper 17 year(s) and up
