Enhance the brand perception and reputation of the City of Barrie, the Black History Month Committee, and their partnering sponsors.

The Black History Month Committee has been planning, managing and presenting the annual Celebration of Black History in the City of Barrie since February 1991. Each year the event attracts local high-school students and interested citizens eager to learn about the contributions of African-Canadians locally and nationally.
